October was a defining month for Uplink — one marked by steady progress, product milestones, and the kind of momentum that signals something big on the horizon. As a leader in decentralized connectivity, DePIN, and Web3 infrastructure, Uplink continues to advance both the technology and the ecosystem behind the world’s first community-powered connectivity network utilizing existing internet infrastructure.

Behind the scenes, our team is refining the most ambitious platform for enterprises looking to connect — a game-changing solution that bridges enterprise connectivity demand with our decentralized supply network. Each step we take brings us closer to TGE, expected early next year, when the Uplink Network will finally go fully live and open itself to the entire world.

While we can’t share every detail just yet, our focus is clear: scaling the technology, driving enterprise demand, and unlocking the full potential of decentralized connectivity. October’s achievements reflect this direction — steady, deliberate, and built for impact.

The Uplink Ecosystem 

The Uplink ecosystem continues to grow at an incredible pace, powered by both technical innovation and community engagement:

• Uplink App downloads approached 85,000.
• Total user registrations across all platforms exceeded 300,000. 
• By the end of October, community members had registered more than 4.1 million routers to the Uplink Network.

Each router registered is more than a number — it’s a potential access point in the world’s first decentralized connectivity grid, bringing us closer to a future where anyone, anywhere, can contribute to and benefit from global internet access.

Tech & Product

Uplink’s technical progress in October focused on optimizing the platform’s performance and preparing the demand side of the network — a crucial piece for testnet and beyond.

Our team implemented several updates that enhance speed, scalability, and user experience:

• Surge Performance Upgrade: Greatly expanded the number of potential simultaneous surge locations. 
• Database Optimization: Improved API efficiency for better app performance.
• General Bug Fixes: Remedied a number of minor user-reported bugs. 

These updates strengthen the backbone of the Uplink ecosystem, ensuring a more efficient and reliable platform for both community participants and enterprise partners as we approach testnet.

Community Initiatives

The Uplink community remains at the heart of everything we build — and October showcased that energy more than ever:

• Launch of NEW Uplink NFT: V2 River Router of the popular Uplink Community NFT collection, check it out and follow along to see how you can earn one! 
• Do-it-Yourself NFT Contest: the community contributed and created Uplink-themed Halloween items, with up to 50 winners will soon receive the first airdrop of the new River Router Uplink Community NFT collection. 
• Sticker Contest: gave creators the chance to add to the Uplink Discord server’s sticker lineup, with ten winners chosen to receive an NFT and have their submissions added to the server. 
• Community Poker: We continued our highly-attended, twice-weekly community poker events, with the winner of each event winning an Uplink Community NFT. Ongoing events will receive V2 of the Uplink Community NFTs.
